What a show CARS & MRE 2023! It was set to be a big event this year as visitors from overseas were now able to travel freely following the Covid restrictions of 2021. We knew it was going to be busier than ever, and that coupled with the increasing amount of End of Life EV's coming to the sector, we thought what better time to launch our new EV Depollution & Dismantling System!
This impressive universal system allows ATF's to process EV's as well as depollute and dismantle hybrids and normal ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) vehicles. Combined with the robust EV battery table and hybrid battery winch, this really is a game changer for ATF's who have been struggling with processing the huge range of different vehicles now coming through
their sites. Unsurprisingly the system got a huge amount of interest at the show, and visitors also got the rare opportunity to look at the underside of a Tesla, donated by ASM Auto Recycling for the display.
What also caught the eye of plenty of buyers, (and judges it seems!) was our crown jewel - the original All In One™ Depollution System. Recycling Lives provided an eye catching vehicle for us to display on this system that they use at all of their sites, nationally.
This system, along with the rest of the POWER Range of Depollution & Dismantling Equipment has been storming through the industry recently and has already won 'Equipment of the Year' at the inaugural Excellence in Vehicle Recycling Awards, as well as being chosen as finalists at the prestigious Excellence in Recycling & Waste Management this year. Exhibitors of the CARS Show were entered into the 'Excellence in Innovation' awards and we were thrilled to be chosen as finalists, and proudly displayed our floor sticker to show off to the shows visitors!
The awards ceremony was to take place during a fantastic charity dinner that concluded and celebrated the success of the first day of the show. And to our amazement, Green Car Depollution were crowned winners! With such a high calibre of entries, we were very proud to have been chosen as a finalist, let alone win this award. This was yet another great accolade for the business. Safe to say, the celebrations continued into the night!
